One question first

Are you of legal drinking age?

CYRUS makes wines, spirits, and beers. Before you come in, we have to ask — most of the EU and the UK draw the line at 18, a handful of countries at 16 for beer and wine. If you're at or above the threshold where you live, click yes.

Please drink responsibly. We don't market to minors, and we'd rather you come in legally than not at all.

Press

Press, samples, and the clippings wall.

The brand is young and we'd rather earn coverage than buy it. Sample bottles are available to working journalists, editors, and reviewers — request below. Brand assets, high-res photography, and a small press kit ship the same day.

On the record

Our co-founder and head distiller is available for short interviews about the brand, saffron sourcing, and Persian-Dutch heritage in the drinks world. Please email at least one week ahead for written interviews, two weeks for video or podcast.

Press kit

A PDF press kit (brand story, founder bio, product fact sheets, eight high-res photographs) is available on request. Ask for the version that suits your beat — trade, lifestyle, food and drink, business.

Sample policy

We send sample bottles free of charge to journalists, editors, and reviewers on request, subject to two reasonable rules: send us a brief note about where the coverage will appear (publication, beat, expected timing), and confirm the recipient is 18+ and able to sign for an alcohol delivery.

We don't ask for editorial control, sight of copy before publication, or any other quid-pro-quo. The samples are samples — if the bottle isn't right for the piece, that's your call.

Selected coverage

Recent mentions — we keep this list short and current; older clippings are in the archive of the press kit.

  • Volkskrant Magazine, "De saffraan-gin uit Amsterdam-Noord" — April 2026
  • Difford's Guide, "Best New Gins 2026: 28 bottles to know" — March 2026
  • Het Parool, Sunday-supplement feature on Persian-Dutch craft — February 2026
  • The Drinks Business, Q&A on small-batch saffron sourcing — January 2026

What we won't do

Sponsor influencer content, pay for "round-up" inclusion, supply free product to non-press accounts (the sample programme is for working journalists, not social-media accounts), or chase awards we have not been invited to. The brand is going to be around for a long time. We're patient.
